Burning rubber fumes got in my food?Help?

I was reheating my chicken nuggets in the conventional oven. Then i found out that there was like a burning smell of like rubber or plastic in or around the oven. I inspected the oven but there was nothing that was burning. But there definately was a smell of it. Im just wondering is my food safe because it was cooking in that burning rubber fumes for like eight minutes. Someone help please
