Is this a scam or is it forreal?

So about last Christmas my parents filled out those contest thing where they have those cars for fun. The both filled it out seperately and did not include each others names so its totally seperate.Yesterday they called my dad and my mom(seperately) saying that them and 7 other people have been chosen to go to Scottsdale Fashion Square spin a wheel to see what they will win. You can win $100,000 or a vacation of your choice or something like that. They filled it out at Chandler Fashion Mall. So Is this for real or is it fake? Did anyone else get a call as well? Has anyone ever won this before?
