Is it okay to store tomato and rice soup in the fridge overnight and reheat?

I made some tomato and rice soup this afternoon but I've made far too much. I'm a bit iffy about reheating rice (especially in soup form), but I don't want to waste it. Would it be risky to store it in the fridge overnight and reheat it tomorrow or would I be best just to throw away the leftovers? Many thanks
