Is it okay to cuddle someone you kind of know?

Okay so me my bff and her bf and his best friend are having a movie night and i was wondering if it's okay to cuddle/lean on a guy i barely know? i mean im not looking for a marriage but a little kissing would'nt hurt. hes in 3 of my classes so we know who eachother are. btw im 16
