Help! Microwave or convection oven?

Microwave. I have a convection oven and never use it. It just cooks food a little faster but is nothing like a microwave. And you can't put breakable or plastic containers in it like coffee cups. And you certainly can't put a heating pad in it. It would catch on fire.
